Where to start with Danielle & Brandon’s wedding. Let’s just start with the fact that their entire day was filled with smiles, laughter, and so much love.
Danielle started off her wedding day getting ready in her childhood home with her parents, her sister, and some of her dearest friends. Having Danielle take some bridal portraits on the porch swing of the home she’s spent the last 20 years of her life living in, and coming home to for so long, just - well it made me emotional!!! It was beautiful.
Danielle’s wedding dress was her mother’s wedding dress that they had altered and redesigned. It. Was. Breathtaking. Danielle had planned a surprise for her parents (which she sprung on them after her first look with her dad) and had taken her parent’s names & wedding date, and her’s & Brandon’s names and wedding dates - and had them sewn on to the hem of her dress. Danielle’s amazing mother showed me the picture of her wearing the same dress, and I knew we had to include it in photographs of the dress.
While all the feels were going on at Danielle’s Parent’s house - the guys were getting ready at the Sheraton - and they were having a good time!!!! Jack was the drink of choice for the fellas, as were the laughs!
Once it was time for the ceremony, you could feel the excitement in the church as everyone awaited for Danielle to be walked down the aisle by her father - to Brandon. And that moment - it did not disappoint. Brandon was so moved seeing the love of his life walk down the aisle…I don’t know that there was a dry eye in the house at that point. Their ceremony highlighted their love for one another, and the support of their amazing family and friends.
Once the ceremony was over, it was time for photographs, cocktail hour, and then the party!!! It was important to Danielle & Brandon to be able to enjoy their cocktail hour - so they could enjoy every second they had with their friends and family. We had built in enough time for them to be able to do that AND make sure they were able to get all of the photographs that they wanted. So once the photographs were done - they were free to party (until I stole them away a bit before sunset…hehe)
From their first dance, to the dances with their parents, to the skit by Brandon’s cousins & friends, to the party on the dance floor - their wedding was filled with SO much love. It was beautiful and I am beyond thankful to Danielle & Brandon, and to their family & friends, for having me their to capture such a beautiful start to their newest chapter!!!
