I'm so glad that you've made it to my little piece of home here on the internet. I highly recommend pouring yourself a cup of coffee and taking a look around - there's a lot of pretty here!

Hi, I'm Megan.

Weekend Wrap Up with a Busy Sunday

Feb 1, 2016

This weekend started out nice and calm, and ended with a crazy busy and wonderful Sunday.

Friday night Ben and I finished watching the last few episodes of Game of Thrones. We were way behind ok people, it’s totally my fault. I can never watch just one episode and so I need time to binge it! We caught up and now I’m super eager for the next season!!!! This one I’m going to have to watch weekly (ugh) and Ben won’t be here!!!!

Anyways it was a great way to spend a night, and we were up super late. So we slept in Saturday and then ran errands with my amazing aunt. We made the huge mistake of going to the Pentagon City Costco (which is my favorite) on a Saturday, around lunch time, after a snow storm has kept people stuck in their houses for ever. It was insanely crazy!!! We just spent the rest of Saturday cleaning and hanging out. It was a great way to spend a Saturday, if a little bit boring.

Sunday was so busy!!! But I loved it!!! In the morning one of my photographer friends came over for a boudoir shoot!!! I wanted to try it out because I think it would be a great service to offer to a bride if they are interested in one to gift their husband, or just to do for themselves!

Oh my gosh, the light was amazing, the pictures were gorgeous (I mean my friend is absolutely gorgeous!) and I realized I really loved shooting boudoir! The entire shoot lit my creative soul on fire!!

A few hours after that I met with another photographer friend, Rosie and her husband, Alex offered to model for me! We went to Old Town Alexandria and I loved the locations we found and the images that were captured. Rosie & Alex were so cute, and were fun to take pictures of!! I hope that Rosie loves them as much as I do!!!

After those 2 shoots, I was starving!!! So I picked up the most amazing BBQ in our area. Rocklands BBQ is both myself, and Ben’s absolute favorite BBQ. We get their pulled chicken, potato salad, and baked beans to last both that night and at least one or two meals after that. If you haven’t been I highly recommend it!!!

Here are some pictures from this weekend….and yes that’s Belle’s version of Boudoir. I hope it’s not to risqué for the blog! 🙂

What did you do this weekend?
